CAAC’s Teenager Visual Arts Studio to be held July 11-22 | Local community

The Chickasha Area Arts Council’s ‘Teen Visual Arts Studio’ camp is now two-weeks in length and will be held July 11-22, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Campers will fulfill at 521 W. Chickasha Ave., house of the Chickasha Location Arts Council (CAAC).

Pre-registration is necessary to go to and enrollment is confined to 15 teens. 

Learners are to carry a sack lunch each individual day as they will continue being on-campus throughout the day.  Snacks and beverages will be delivered.

The total payment for the 2-week camp is $195, which incorporates the $25 non-refundable deposit expected with each and every registration.  

To avoid a $20 late cost, teenagers are to register before Wed., June 30.  

Applications for the ‘Teen Visual Arts Studio ‘ camp are out there:  (1) on the web at chickashaarts.org (2) by emailing [email protected] and requesting an application and (3) at the CAAC’s “Area Art” present shop, 521 W Chickasha Ave., Tues. via Sat., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To register on-line at www.chickashaarts.org, click on the ‘Teen Art Studio 2022’ tab and adhere to the instructions.  Also, the software can be printed, completed and mailed with the $25 non-refundable deposit or the full tuition payment of $195.  Checks or cash orders are to be created out to ‘CAAC – STUDIO’.  Mail the application and payment to CAAC-STUDIO, PO Box 505, Chickasha, Ok 73023.

Angela Moore, a 2009 USAO graduate, is the ‘Teen Visual Arts Studio’ instructor.  She has been the Ninnekah Significant College Artwork Instructor since 2011 and is also the Family and Consumer Science Educator at the college.  Angela serves on the CAAC Board of Administrators, is an art teacher for CAAC’s Cost-free Saturday Morning Artwork Classes for small children ages 4-12, is a visual arts teacher for ArtScope and Studio, has labored with the Chickasha Local community Theatre as a make-up artist, and is also a freelance photographer with AM Photography.

In the ‘Studio’ camp, the teens will practical experience ‘Visual Arts’ by means of a combination of self-expression and technological enhancement drawing from the creativity even now everyday living research lifestyle drawing composition and shade partnership medium exploration – charcoal, pencil, pastel, paint, clay two-dimensional and 3-dimensional function.
