(NELSONVILLE, OHIO) – Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains sits the Tiny Cities of Black Diamond, a assortment of historic coal mining communities in Southeast Ohio. In celebration of this history, Hocking College or university is proud to announce the Nelsonville Black Diamond Songs and Arts Competition to be held on the College’s key campus in Nelsonville, Ohio on June 10th and 11th, 2022. Related to the region’s loaded country and bluegrass roots, the Black Diamond New music and Arts Pageant will celebrate an eclectic wide variety of artists and musicians including headliners, multi-platinum, award-profitable recording artist Elle King, Elvie Shane, and the Kentucky Headhunters. The two-day music and arts competition will aspect three levels, a range of food items and beverage distributors, arts and crafts sellers and demonstrations, and accommodations for visitors that incorporate tenting and lodging.
